Аннотация

По сведениям римских землемеров, основные принципы самой распространенной системы римского ортогонального межевания – лимитации – восходят к disciplina etrusca, комплексу этрусских ритуалов. Среди специалистов нет единого мнения о степени влияния этрусков на развитие римского межевания: собственно этрусские достижения в этой области малоизвестны, гораздо более заметны ортогональные планы греческих колоний юга Италии. Обращение к известным случаям прямоугольной планировки территории этрусских поселений, в частности колонии в Марцаботто, показывает, с одной стороны, их близость планировке греческих городов, с другой стороны, наличие особенностей, обусловленных влиянием этрусских религиозных ритуалов, некоторые из которых – ориентация дорог поселения по сторонам света, наличие на их пересечении специальных знаков – действительно согласуются с предписаниями римских землемерных трактатов эпохи Империи. Самые ранние следы римских межеваний, близкие лимитации, датируются серединой III в. до н.э. Появление римской лимитации именно в это время можно объяснить более тесным знакомством с disciplina etrusca, произошедшим после завоевания основных этрусских религиозных центров.
