This study aimed to review the literature using Russian and international sources and present data from contemporary studies on symptoms, possible pathophysiology and proposed treatment for neurological manifestations of consequences after an acute severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. The recovery level of vital activity after acute infection with SARS-CoV-2 is low, and neurological symptoms persist in many patients. Chronic fatigue syndrome gradually develops in patients with a history of the disease, which subsequently leads to mental disorders, due to decreased physical activity.</p>
В результате снижения физической активности у переболевших постепенно развивается синдром хронической усталости, который в дальнейшем приводит к психическим расстройствам.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>review</kwd><kwd>COVID-19</kwd><kwd>coronavirus</kwd><kwd>severe acute respiratory syndrome</kwd><kwd>SARS-CoV-2</kwd><kwd>pandemic</kwd><kwd>central nervous system</kwd><kwd>peripheral nervous system</kwd><kwd>fatigue syndrome after COVID-19</kwd><kwd>myalgic encephalomyelitis</kwd><kwd>chronic fatigue syndrome</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>обзор</kwd><kwd>COVID-19</kwd><kwd>коронавирус</kwd><kwd>тяжелый острый респираторный синдром</kwd><kwd>SARS-CoV-2</kwd><kwd>пандемия</kwd><kwd>центральная нервная система</kwd><kwd>периферическая нервная система</kwd><kwd>синдром усталости после COVID-19</kwd><kwd>миалгический энцефаломиелит</kwd><kwd>синдром хронической усталости</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Leung TYM, Chan AYL, Chan EW, et al.
