Employees constitute a risk group for occupational diseases; therefore, the safety of forensic medical experts is critically important.</p> <p>The review discusses the available published data on occupational morbidity among personnel of forensic medical examination, accounting for the risks associated with forensic investigation of causes of death.</p> <p>Analysis of the published research on occupational morbidity among personnel of forensic medical examinations and risk factors was conducted. The search was conducted in the electronic databases MEDLINE, the Russian Science Citation Index, and Google Scholar using the following keywords separately or in combination: “forensic medical examination,” “safety,” “infection,” “injuries,” and “autopsy.” The search was performed for publications issued in the period from 2020 to 2025. The review included 34 articles, of which 12 were domestic and 22 were foreign.</p> <p>Analysis of the published data showed that scientific papers provide information on a relatively widespread prevalence among forensic experts of diseases caused by occupational risks. In published research, considerable attention is given to the assessment of specific risk factors and the adoption of measures to control epidemiological safety, which can significantly contribute to reducing occupational morbidity among medical personnel of forensic medical examination bureaus.</p>
В литературе значительное внимание уделяется оценке специфических факторов риска и принятию мер по контролю за эпидемиологической безопасностью, что может значительно влиять на снижение профессиональной заболеваемости медицинского персонала бюро судебно-медицинской экспертизы.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>forensic medical experts</kwd><kwd>occupational morbidity</kwd><kwd>risk factors</kwd><kwd>safety</kwd><kwd>infection</kwd><kwd>wounds and injuries</kwd><kwd>autopsy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>судебно-медицинские эксперты</kwd><kwd>профессиональная заболеваемость</kwd><kwd>факторы риска</kwd><kwd>безопасность</kwd><kwd>инфекция</kwd><kwd>травмы</kwd><kwd>вскрытие</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Zvyagintseva EV.
